Are you ready for EASY and HEALTHY pico de gallo (a fancy word for salsa that’s BETTER than regular salsa)?! I prefer chunky pico over regular ole’ runny salsa!
- Finely chop tomatoes and onion. Remove seeds from jalapenos (or leave in for hotter pico) and finely chop.
- Mince garlic (if using whole cloves) and chop cilantro.
- (or throw it all in a food processor – WAY easier!!!)
- Didn’t use a processor? Mix well.
- Salt to taste.
This is a photo of our most recent pico de gallo day (we’ve eaten half of the large container with the green lid already!), using mainly the tomatoes, onions and jalapenos from our garden. Doesn’t this look YUM?! What are you waiting for?! Go make some!!!
